Solanum nigrum belonging to the family Solanaceae, has been considered as a remedy for treating various ailments like epilepsy, gastric ulcers etc. and is believed have hepatoprotective activities. In this study, total phenolic flavonoid content of extracts Ethyl acetate Methanol from leaves their antioxidant activity was carried out by using spectrophotometric methods. extract with high absorbance exhibited highest containing quantity phenolics flavonoids followed Acetate. The presence compounds indicated that these can contribute activity. These active constituents alone or in combination others may be responsible observed findings promising crude needs further exploration effective use both modern traditional system medicines. leaf regarded candidate natural plant sources antioxidants higher values. A comparative study contents extracted solvents, in-vitro could an hepatoprotection study.
